We have the privilege of working in a lively downtown Kitchener community that boasts a burgeoning Tech Sector, vibrant Arts Venues like Centre in the Square, historical venues like Schneider Haus, and the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. We've always felt responsible to our community and that's why we do our very best to support it.
Each year, our Kitchener Dentist, Dr. Kyle Hornby, performs a day of dental care with the proceeds from treatment going directly to a very important cause. This year, we are excited to be holding a Dentistry for Cystic Fibrosis Day with all profits going to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada. There are currently over 4,000 Canadian children, adolescents and adults living with Cystic Fibrosis. On average, a person living with Cystic Fibrosis spends the equivalent of 4 months of full-time work undergoing life-sustaining treatments every year.
When we donate to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, our financial gift is used to support local Cystic Fibrosis Clinics, Cystic Fibrosis research, as well as Newborn Screening Programs aimed at early detection of the disease. For our Kitchener Dentist, maintaining involvement with special causes and charities is very important. Giving back allows our KW Dental Office to show gratitude for all the support we have received from our Kitchener-Waterloo community!
